As expressed in its mission statement, CCBA is a community of lawyers aspiring to greater professionalism through fellowship, education and public service. CCBA is dedicated to its members and community. Serving Cameron, Star, Willacy, Hidalgo and surrounding counties, CCBA is committed to increasing the community’s understanding and appreciation of the legal system.
Keeping up the legacy.The CCBA plays a leadership role in championing issues for the betterment of the our region and its legal community. Since its founding, the CCBA has expanded to a membership and evolved to keep pace with the ever-changing legal community in the South Texas region. Our members have to go through a rigorous application process to keep our organization to our founding principles.
General InformationMembership in the Cameron County Bar Association is voluntary. An attorney does not have to join the CCBA to practice law in Texas.
